The Bangalore-based startup, MonkeyBox, owned by MonkeyBox Food Tech Pvt. Ltd, which delivers nutritious food to school children in Bengaluru has acquired Delhi-based cold-pressed juice manufacturer and delivery firm RawKing.
The Gurgaon-based firm, Rawking was launched in 2014 and claims to be a 100% Raw-Undiluted-Cold pressed Juice manufacturing and delivery service. The company also offers a host of Juice Delivery packages that can be availed as Daily, Weekly or Monthly deliveries.

Monkeybox was started in 2015 by Sanjay Rao and Sandeep K N. The inspiration behind starting the company was that they themselves were looking to solve their own concern of providing daily nutritious freshly-prepared meals to their kids in school. The company delivers meal boxes to kids thrice a day directly to their schools. The company was started as an experiment with friends within the community and today claims to have expanded to serving 1500 parents and 25-schools in South Bengaluru.

Last November, MonkeyBox had raised an undisclosed amount in seed investment led by early-stage investor Blume Venture Advisors Pvt. Ltd. A clutch of high-net-worth individuals had also participated in the round.
On the acquisition, Ashish Fafadia, Chief Financial Officer of Blume Ventures, which is an investor in MonkeyBox, said:
