Shopkirana, a mobile application platform which connect individual retailers directly with the suppliers, has today received an undisclosed amount of funding from a group of angel investors.
The investors who participated in this angel funding round includes Atul Jain, former senior VP- Samsung Global HQ along with participation from Hola Chef founder, Anil Gelra.

The company has a team of more than 45 people that go door-to-door demonstrating the benefits of the application and educating retailers about the importance of smart business system.
Since starting up in February 2015, the company has had 15,000+ deliveries across Indore and Mumbai, sales of Rs 70 lakh and have sold three lakh quantities of various goods of around 10 brands.
Earlier, in December 2015, the company had raised around $60,000 in seed funding from unknown investors.
ShopKirana works on an asset-light model, following an on-demand pick and drop model, and doesn’t own any inventory. However, the company has established fulfillment centers for material collection, sorting, and packaging.
