Gingercrush.com, an online product customization platform, has raised a pre Series A round of funding worth $1 million. The new funding round was led by Saha Fund, along with the participation of T.V. Mohandas Pai’s family office, Zia Mody, Mumbai Angels, Ananda Kallugadde, Rakesh Desai and Rakesh Malhotra.
As a part of the deal, Pranav Pai, son of Mohandas Pai, has joined the advisory board of the firm while Ankita Vashistha, founder of Saha Fund, has joined its board of directors.
The Vadodara-based startup was founded by Rajvi Makol and Saumya Nidhi in 2015. Earlier, the company had raised an undisclosed amount from T. V. Mohandas Pai and $1 million in its seed funding round from a group of angel investors.
It is a B2C on-demand retail platform where consumers can instantly shop for or customize products to fit their personal style and purchase a vast array of products.
